Lu Battaglieri, President of the Michigan Education Association, is “outraged” and calling for the resignation of US Secretary of Education Rod Paige, after Sec. Paige referred to the National Education Association as a “terrorist” organization. I find this especially interesting in light of a story on the Drudge Report , which reminds us all that John Kerry referrs to Republicans as “Legislative Terrorists.” Seems to me Mr. Battaglieri should be calling for Sen. Kerry’s resignation in addition to Sec. Paige’s. But then, Mr. Battaglieri is listed in the “Look Who’s Fighting for John Kerry” section of Sen. Kerry’s Presidential campaign website, not too far from a picture of Gov. Granholm.
