Former Michigan Governor John Engler to speak at 32nd Biennial MRLC

LANSING, Mich., September 5, 2017 – Former Michigan Governor John Engler is scheduled to speak at the 32nd Biennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference.

“Governor Engler is a tremendous leader, statesman, and friend and I am proud to have him attend and speak at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference,” Michigan Republican Party Chairman Ron Weiser said. “Governor Engler has had a tremendous impact on our state, leading the charge on tax reform, education, and protection of our Great Lakes. He is an incredible example of the spirit of Michigan and we are excited to have him back at our conference.”

John Engler served in the Michigan legislature for 20 years before becoming Michigan’s 46th Governor. He went on to serve as CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers and President of the Business Roundtable.
