Day 3: Believe in Michigan - Jobs First‏

November 4, 2012

Roseville, Mich., Nov. 4, 2012 – Good evening, we just wrapped our third day on the road for the “Believe in Michigan – Jobs First” bus tour in Roseville, Mich. The day began with an energetic crowd at the Midland Victory Center where activists and families came to hear from prominent Republican leaders and share their excitement for the Republican ticket – more than 250 people greeted the bus in Midland. Michigan activists have dedicated their time and effort to eliminating the possibility of four more years of Obama’s failed policies and changing the course of our country by electing Gov. Mitt Romney the 45th President of the United States.

Today, the tour made stops at packed victory centers and GOP headquarters throughout Mid-Michigan and the thumb concluding with an enthusiastic rally of more than 200 supporters at the St. Clair Victory Center in Kimball Township, Michigan. For photos from the stops today: www.facebook.com/migop

New poll numbers from this morning indicate President Obama and Gov. Romney are in a statistical dead heat in Michigan. Our ground game and motivated supporters have worked to close the gap between the two candidates and are excited to see Michigan on the verge of going “red” on Election Day.

Tomorrow is the final leg of our 4-day, 24-stop tour across Michigan. Michigan Republican Party announced the last stop of the “Believe in Michigan – Jobs First” tour will feature Gov. Rick Snyder, Lt. Gov. Brian Calley, AG Bill Schuette, U.S. Senate Candidate Pete Hoekstra, Congressman Tim Wahlberg and other Republican leaders at an outdoor rally at the Jackson Victory Center.

Activsts were also excited to learn today that Matt and Josh Romney will make several stop in Michigan, including at least three stops with the “Believe in Michigan – Jobs First” bus tour.
