MRP Wishes to Thank Ambassador Ron Weiser for his Service

On behalf of the Michigan Republican Party, I want to thank Amb. Ron Weiser for his excellent service to the Republican National Committee.

Today, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus announced that Ray Washburne will serve as the new RNC National Finance Chairman and thus concludes Ron Weiser’s service as RNC National Finance Chairman.

Ambassador Weiser has a long and storied history of supporting the Michigan Republican Party, including a stint as MRP Chairman, where I was honored to work closely with him as then-MRP Finance Chairman.

As national finance chairman, Amb. Weiser’s hard work at the RNC, erasing a $24 million debt and breaking previous fundraising records.

I offer my best wishes to Ron, his wife Eileen and their family, and offer a strong Republican ‘thank you,’ for his commitment to our conservative causes, notably, Freedom to Work, his support of our Republican ideals, and his service to our country as a former ambassador.
