Statement on the Elementary School Shooting in Newtown, CT

Lansing, Mich., Dec. 14, 2012 – Following the elementary school shooting in Newtown, CT, Chairman Bobby Schostak issued the following statement:

“My heart goes out to the families affected by this terrible act of violence today. As a parent and grandparent, I cannot imagine the pain and loss they are experiencing.

“May God’s love cradle those who have departed and touch those grieving a loss.

“On behalf of the Michigan Republican Party, may our prayers and thoughts help strengthen the families in Newtown living through this senseless tragedy.”
