Nancy Danhof - Nancy Danhof is currently the Executive Director of the Todd Martin Development Fund. Previous experience includes Director of the Michigan Foundation for Education Leadership, developing and coordinating the Governor's Education Summit, member of the East Lansing Board of Education, and volunteer in East Lansing Schools' K-5 Reading Program. Mrs. Danhof holds a Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate from Michigan State University.

Eileen Weiser - Eileen Weiser was elected in 2010. She returns to the State Board having previously served as an elected member of the State Board of Education from 1988-2006. Ms. Weiser holds piano performance degrees from Michigan State University, and the University of Michigan. She is now serving a second term as a general public member for the National Assessment Governing Board which sets policy for the National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as NAEP or The Nation's Report Card.
Richard Zeile - Rev. Dr. Richard A. Zeile was elected to the board in 2010. He has served as Pastor & Headmaster at St. John's Lutheran Church & School in Taylor, as well as Adjunct Professor of Education at Concordia University, Ann Arbor. Ordained in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, he has served Lutheran Parochial schools for most of his professional life, and also a year as Chaplain Resident at Detroit's Sinai-Grace Hospital.

Andrea Fischer Newman - A University of Michigan graduate, Regent Newman is a Vice President of the Detroit Economic Club and a Senior Vice President for Delta Airlines. First elected to the board in 1994, she also holds a law degree from George Washington University.
Andrew C. Richner - The Chair of the Board of Regents, Mr. Richner was elected in 2002. He graduated from the University of Michigan Business School and Law School, while writing for the Michigan Law Review, and is a practicing lawyer and a former State Representative.

Brian Breslin - Brian Breslin was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2010. He earned his bachelor’s degree in food systems economics and management from MSU in 1977, while playing basketball for the Michigan State Spartans.
Until his retirement in 2006, Breslin worked as the senior vice president of human resources and government relations at Michigan-based Meijer Inc. in Grand Rapids. Having been with Meijer since 1977, Breslin also served as the vice president for public and consumer affairs and as a company spokesperson.
Melanie Foster - Elected to the Board in 2004, Foster has served as vice chairperson for the past five years and has served on the MSU Foundation Board for the past four years. In 1997 she was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Central Michigan University and served until 2004. While at CMU she chaired a national presidential search and a comprehensive presidential performance review. Appointed by Governor John Engler, Melanie Foster previously served on the MSU Board of Trustees from 1991 to 1992.
Foster was raised in the landscape and nursery business in Flat Rock, Michigan. For 15 years she served as President and CEO of a commercial landscape company that she built into the nation's largest female-owned and controlled landscape firm. Based in the Detroit area, the firm also had offices in four states.
Foster was also President and CEO of a commercial landscape firm in Orlando, Florida, for 10 years, that specialized in theme park and entertainment related landscaping. She currently manages a personal real estate portfolio.
Foster is a member of the Trinity Church of Lansing and currently serves on the Capital Area United Way Board. She is a former member of the MSU Wharton Advisory Council, serving there for six years, and the Michigan Dyslexia Association. Former directorships include Charter National Bank, Artrain, the State of Michigan Board of Landscape Architecture Registration and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America.
Foster received a B.S. degree from MSU in Ornamental Horticulture. She resides in East Lansing with her husband John and three children.

Diane L. Dunaskiss - A graduate of Wayne State University and current Elementary School Principal, Mrs. Dunaskiss has been active at several levels of education. Elected in 1994, she also specializes in special education, working with students who have special needs to enhance the education experience.
Danialle Karmanos - Danialle Karmanos grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in journalism. Her career as an executive video producer has taken her around the world working on projects ranging from DaimlerChrysler and ESPN to the Boys and Girls Clubs.
Danialle also provides her leadership talents to a number of other Michigan charitable organizations, including the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
