MRP Statement on Hillary Clinton’s campaign stop in Detroit

LANSING, Mich., Oct. 10 – Michigan Republican Party Chairman Ronna Romney McDaniel on Monday released the following statement regarding Hillary Clinton’s campaign stop in Detroit:

“Hillary Clinton avoided Michigan voters for 60 days and continually refuses to answer serious questions about her record during her 30 years of public service. The differences between her rhetoric on the campaign trail and behind closed doors to those who can afford access to her is stark and disconcerting.

“Her record is one of putting herself and her interests before those she’s supposed to serve. At every turn, she has shown that she is unfit to be President. From her handling of national security secrets to her unfulfilled campaign promises as Senator from New York, Clinton’s career has always been about her needs, and not that of the American people.”
