Call for Kildee to Bring Transparency to His Taxpayer Funded Gubernatorial Campaign

Kildee Travels Outside His District Trying to Raise Money and Media But Refuses to File Required Paperwork

LANSING, MI, Jan. 17, 2017 – Michigan Republican Party Co-Chair Jeff Sakwa blasted Congressman Dan Kildee for refusing to file his paperwork despite his obvious run for Governor. Congressman Kildee will appear outside his district in Lansing talking to media and meeting with potential supporters.

“If Dan Kildee is going to run for Governor, he should file the proper paperwork. Instead of lecturing others, Kildee should disclose to taxpayers that he Is running for Governor with THEIR funds,” stated Michigan Republican Party Co-Chair Jeff Sakwa. “Kildee should disclose to families that he is not doing his job in his district but looking for his next job in Lansing. But this is not a surprise since career politician Dan Kildee is always looking for his next job.”
