Biden and Peter’s Tara Reade Problem

Yesterday, in an interview with Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC, presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden admitted that the American people “probably shouldn’t vote for me” if voters believe Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against him. Biden then added he himself “wouldn’t vote for me” if he believed the allegations. That begs the question, “does Senator Gary Peters believe Tara Reade?”

Peters, who faces John James this November, previously endorsed Biden last month but has denied multiple requests for comment on the issue.

Reade, who came forward with sexual assault allegations against the former Vice President when she was a member of his Senate staff, has said that the presidential nominee should drop out of the race.

“Michiganders have a right to know who Gary Peters believes; his political pal Joe Biden or Tara Reade?” said Laura Cox, Michigan Republican Party Chairman. Cox continued, “The only thing worse than the Democrat’s effort to silence Tara Reade, is Gary Peter’s silence since these allegations became public over 50 days ago.”
