Dana Ferguson, candidate for Congress in Michigan’s 1st District has reportedly been accused of domestic abuse and stalking.
LANSING, Mich., September 3, 2020 — According to The Alpena News, Dana Ferguson, candidate for Congress in Michigan’s 1st District, has reportedly been accused of domestic abuse and stalking. Ferguson was arrested in May of 2011 after he physically assaulted his wife while she held their 9-year-old child. This is not the first time Ferguson has been accused of disturbing behavior, having previously served 12 months’ probation due to charges of stalking, in 2008.
“It is appalling to me that the Democrat Party would nominate a person for the U.S. Congress accused of domestic abuse and stalking.” said Michigan Republican Party Chairman Laura Cox. Cox continued, “Michigan Democrat Party Chairwoman Lavora Barnes and Congresswomen Stevens, Slotkin, and Tlaib as well as all Michigan Democrats need to condemn the candidacy of Dana Ferguson immediately.”
Multiple documents have begun to surface confirming the validity of these accusations of domestic abuse and stalking.
