The Michigan Republican Party (MIGOP) released the following statement on behalf of Chairman Laura Cox regarding President Trump’s Thursday visit to Ypsilanti, Michigan.
MIGOP Co-Chair, Terry Bowman who is a 23-year hourly UAW-Ford worker, has spent the last six weeks back at his Rawsonville Plant in Ypsilanti helping transform his line and build the ventilators. On Sunday, April 26th, the first saleable ventilator came off the line. Bowman, who also currently serves as the national “Workers For Trump” coalition chair, will help build upwards of 50,000 of the lifesaving devices alongside his fellow workers.
“President Trump has provided unprecedented aid to our state during this crisis and under his leadership, Michigan will play a key role in our nation's recovery. I want to thank MIGOP Co-Chair Terry Bowman for his tireless efforts working day in and day out to help his fellow Michiganders. I look forward to welcoming President Trump back to the ‘Great Lakes State’ this Thursday to celebrate the hardworking men and women like Terry who are helping rebuild our nation.”
