LANSING, Mich., April 13, 2018 – The Michigan Republican Party is hosting two Republican gubernatorial primary debates and has confirmation from Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley, Senator Patrick Colbeck, Dr. Jim Hines, and Attorney General Bill Schuette.

“We are excited to get our Republican candidates in front of Michigan voters so that they learn what we already know: our candidates are better for Michigan’s future than the Democrats,” said Michigan Republican Party Communications Director Sarah Anderson.

The first debate will be on Wednesday, May 9 in Grand Rapids at WOOD TV studios. The second debate will occur on Thursday June 28 in Detroit at WDIV studios. Additional details will follow regarding times, media credentials, and ticketing.
